For Judi

My mom's friend, Judy, slipped on some ice in her garage and went down hard.  The poor woman broke her femur.  Can you even imagine? Here is the same design I used for the other 'get well' card I sent to my friend having back surgery.  I may wait until she begins to heal a little before sending it.  I don't want it to seem too Flippant.

Used Rococo Rose as the card base and a lighter wood design from 'In Good Taste' DSP to give this card a feminine look.  I usually need to adapt to make a card more masculine- this is the first time I had to make a card more feminine

Other:
Alcohol Markers: light and dark Crumb Cake
Dimensionals: 104430

Techniques:
Score card at 4.25 and then cut the front panel in half.
Keep the panel you cut out and that is what makes the base for the panel on the front.
Layered panels on top of one another to create a barn door look.

Tip

Another way to dress up the envelope is to use leftover paper and adhere to the envelope flap.
Cut a strip of DSP paper 6 in. x 2.5 in.  You will have a little overhang, just cut along the envelop flap to remove excess.
