Fall/Holiday Catalog Sneak Peak

Being a Stamping' Up! Demonstrator has its perks! I was able to get  look at the Fall/Holiday Catalog last month.  Better than that, I was able to place an order.  I've been playing a bit since it's all arrived.  Here are a few of my products. If I wasn't dealing with a back injury I would have much, much more.

I'm so excited to share the new catalog with all my customers.  If you are not a customer of mine- reach out- I would be happy to have you join us on our stamping and paper craft adventure.  I've included step by step directions on making this treat holder using Stampin' Up! DSP reversible paper.  This is thick paper that makes great boxes, treat bags, and holders! Treat holder directions are at the bottom.

Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorite products:

May absolute favorite is this 'Feels Like Frost' Paper and Die cuts.  This paper is gorgeous! This would make a very simple card front as well as some beautiful background paper for a scrapbook page.

If you can click on the image and zoom in, you will really get to see the beautiful detail.

Toile Tidings.  I had to have this entire suite.  Check out the distinctive Cardinal stamp.  This is one of the samples I played with above.
The paper is beautiful and this is
12 x 12 DSP

Night Before Christmas is some beautiful 6 x 6 double sided paper.  There's the cutest stamp set that coordinates. There is also an entire kit that all the pieces, directions are included for several projects.

Hope you liked the sneak peak. I will get out the Catalogs to all my customers Sept. 4!
IN the mean time here are the directions for the Easy Treat Holder.  I did this with 6 x 6 paper, but if you want a larger treat holder, start with a larger square.

Cute as an Elephant

Less is More and CAS(E) this Sketch
Isn't that a phrase?  Needed to create a Get Well card and wanted to combine some of this week's challenge. Less is More has a color challenge. CAS(E) this sketch had a fun sketch this week that I will be entering my elephant card in.

I used an older stamp set and dug deep into my scrap pile to get the colors. I stamped the elephant using grey and colored it in with colored pencils.

I hope the intended recipient will enjoy this cute card.

Redeem Your Codes

It's time to search your email for all those codes that you earned in July.  Having trouble finding them all- search 'You Earned a Bonus Days Coupon Code' in the search box.  I went ahead and printed mine out and put them with my catalog.

The directions are below on how to go about 'cashing them in.'

I had fun with one of the new stamp sets, last night.  This may be one you passed on, but as I took a second look, I thought of all sorts of ways to use it. The set is called 'Check You Out'.

I am a Technology Coach at my school and the Librarian.  I love this set to use as a Thank you card for all my volunteers and Clerks.  A friend just had hip surgery and am created this to give to her.

As we are starting to gear up to go back to school, I sent this one out to my Clerks with a little gift card telling them how excited I am for another year!.

What Did:

149462

Stamp Set: Check You Out (SU! 19-20 Catalog)
CARDSTOCK & PAPER: Smoky Slate(SU!) card base: cut 4-1/2 x 11 scored at 5-1/2, Bermuda
Bay(SU!) cut 3-1/2 x 4-3/4, Whisper White with Stitched rectangle Die. Used a scrap of granny Apple green to punch 1" circle
INK:Bermuda Bay, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate.
OTHER: White embossing powder, Snail Adhesive(SU!), dimensionals, Tear & Tape (SU!) Simply Scored (SU!) Scissor snips
TECHNIQUE: First, I stamped the smoky Slate with the hearts- this creates background without using DSP paper.  I 'built' the owl top down>owl, green book, next book, last. I stamped the sentiment in Versmark and then used white embossing powder and heat set it. I adhered everything with Tear & Tape, except I used dimensional for the sentiment circle.

Utterly Exhausted!

Less is More #398
I Haven't been entering many challenges lately, but trying to get back to it this summer.  Great to start with Less is More Challenge: Single Layer, Spots #398.
As strange as it seems, one layer is difficult to accomplish.  I used an old wood block stamp set I have had for years from Stampin' up! called Farm Fever.  I love this set because it has some cute characters wishing you well when you are sick.  I paired this with a new set Beauty Abounds.  This has so many beautiful images of butterflies and some Beautiful sentiments, but it also include this sponge/ splatter looking stamp, that crates the perfect edge to any single layers card. Order Beauty Abounds from My Store and I'll send you a free gift! Use use the Host Code: WXRTA3KB

Beauty Abounds

What I did

STAMPS: Used an Old Stampin' Up! Set,- Farm Fever combined with a new one: Beauty Abounds.
Ink Basic Black and colored in with Stampin' Blends Light Flirty Flamingo.

What do you think of the faux splatter along the edges?
