Connections Through Reading

My Project

I want to start the school year off with #onebookoneschool challenge. Books and stories can help bring people together; can help people talk about something in common. This is what I hope to do next year through this project. There has been so much trauma over the last year. I want students to be able to experience some joy and have a way to connect with others. If everyone who reads my Blog can donate $5 I will be able to get books for the entire school and bring this project to life through @DonorsChoose

This will be the book we read together. I am so excited to bring this to my students! Please consider donating. Go to: Creating Connections Through Reading on DonorsChoose. The money goes to them, directly, they purchase the books and mail the Books to my school.

Success! First Zoom Card Class

I had fun coming up with the cards and ideas for this first Zoom Card class. I received lots of positive feedback.  I really believe that everyone is crafty on the inside. Let me help you bring it out!  If you are interested in trying card making and other paper crafting projects please reach out.  I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and help you in your journey of bringing your craftiness out.

If you have left crafting and want to start dabbling again, I'm here for you.  Whatever level you are, I will meet you where you're at.  I may try a 'Beginner Class' next month. Please follow me on Instagram @craftyontheinside for more photos of cards and papercraft projects.  My goal is to inspire you to bring your craftiness out- you've get it in there!   Join future classed and get supplies, tips, and a pdf with directions, supplies used, and ideas for tons of other cards.

Crafty Happy Birthday

I needed a card for a crafty friend and wanted to participate in Global Design Project Color Challenge #281 - Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride and Real Red.  I used an older DSP called Follow Your Art and The stamp set from an older SU! Ice Cream Bundle called Cool Treats- anyone remember that one.  We can make some real cool cards combining Cool Treats and Sweet Ice Cream (Newer SU! set).

I am getting ready to offer my first Virtual Card class.  We will be making 3 cards using Quite Curvy Stamps and Dies. I will be showing at least 10 ideas to do with Quite Curvy- and here is another one.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Sets: Cool Treats
Bermuda Bay(SU!) cardstock 8 ½ x 5 ½”
Ink Pad: Memento Tuxedo Black
DSP: Follow Your Art(Retired SU!) and Individual popsicles cut out of Ice Cream Corner (Current SU!)
